Demonstrations and Workshops of Beppu Take Zaiku (Bamboo Crafting) For the demonstration, you can watch the crafting process, from splitting bamboo outside the shop and making it into thin bamboo sticks, to weaving them. In the workshop, you can choose to make one of the two following items: Shikainami-kago bamboo basket (required time: about 1 hour) or a horse bookmark (required time: about 30 minutes). Conducted twice a day at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm |
