Production Demonstration by Okeya Kondo Okeya Kondo is a workshop located in the Murasakino area in Kyoto. Using high-quality Japanese wood, Taichi Kondo, a craftsman, completes all the processes by himself. Wooden buckets and rice tubs are made by paying particular attention to their pleasant form and the beauty of wood grain. Each item can be repaired, allowing you to use it for a long period of time. During the period, Mr. Kondo will be invited to the shop and will give a production demonstration, including the process of fabricating members into a bucket and shaving with a plane. |
